Les boulettes farcies bien-aim\u00e9es d’Europe de l’Est, appel\u00e9es varenyky <\/i>ou perogies, <\/i>sont les humbles rois de la cuisine ukrainienne. Ces farces sucr\u00e9es et sal\u00e9es envelopp\u00e9es dans une p\u00e2te molle sont probablement arriv\u00e9es en Ukraine le long de la route de la soie depuis l’Asie centrale et la Chine. Leur popularit\u00e9 et leur vari\u00e9t\u00e9 ont explos\u00e9 lorsqu’elles ont \u00e9t\u00e9 associ\u00e9es \u00e0 l’agriculture riche et vari\u00e9e du chornozem <\/i>(terre noire).
